The Red Tent, Friday 12 September Fereshta invites you to an evening in The Red Tent, inspired by the mysterious Bedouin women who get together once a month to tell stories, dance, eat, plan, share their lives and relax. You will enjoy some fun bellydancing, a delicious supper, lounging on cushions, affirming visions and moving stories. And mark your diary now for: --WA Middle Eastern Dance Festival Fri 26- Mon 29 Sept. Oasis will be presenting Solo in the Spotlight on Fri 26 Sept as the welcoming function for the Festival. Workshops at the Festival with Oasis teachers on Saturday 27 September: Warm up and work your body with Rose's Bellydance Bootie Camp at 9.30am, after that Rose will show you how to master the art of punctuating your shimmies in her Sassy Shimmies workshop. In the afternoon Jilyan shares tips and tricks for sword work with Stylish Sword focussing on single sword followed by Dynamic Double Sword where the name speaks for itself! And keep an eye out for denizens of the Oasis on the various performance stages. |
